We have worked in the sector for over 25 years, we therefore have an in-depth knowledge of the skills, experience and values that support workers need to work successfully to promote service user involvement and independence. Through our quality vetting process, we develop a profile for each of our candidates, which is made visible to our customers via their on-line portal.

Clear, Simple and Transparent Charging Structure

When we agree rates and charges with our customers, we provide a full breakdown of what you will be charged per hour, including: worker’s pay, employer’s NI, holiday pay (WTR), pension costs, our commission and VAT. We also offer you a number of ways to reduce your costs through our CentralAlliance model and on-line self-management tools.

In addition, all charges, timesheet data, invoices and related reporting are visible on the customer portal on CentralAxis.

Recruitment and Vetting Standards

We have a very thorough recruitment process that is integral to the Service Level Agreement we develop with our customers. This process, which is managed consistently, is one of the reasons why our customers have total confidence in us.

Our recruitment, assessment and vetting process incorporates:

  • 10 year work history
  • 5 years of written references
  • All gaps accounted for
  • Full in-depth interview
  • Right to work documentation
  • Fully enhanced DBS – checked annually

Once compliant, we create a CQC compliant Worker Profile that is real-time and visible on the customer on-line portal.

CentralAxis Software – Powerful Visibility

Our powerful web-based operating platform automates over one hundred different processes related to multi-agency supply, bank management, timesheets, invoicing, real-time reporting and comprehensive analytics. CentralAxis is fully scalable and currently manages on-line staffing solutions for over 50 different customers. Our client-led development process means the product is constantly evolving, delivering new efficiency features leading to improved outputs.

Tailored Service Level Agreements

Central’s tailored service level agreements are designed to ensure all parties remain compliant whilst working toward the main objectives of the contract. Agreed rates of pay, charges, standards of recruitment, worker transfer protocols and performance are integral to the tailored SLA.

Bank development and maximisation

Integral to a number of our products, and our objective of delivering value for money, are processes to facilitate the speedy transfer of agency workers onto our customers' staff banks. This product contributes to the delivery of the most cost effective solution for employing small and large numbers of flexible staff by significantly reducing agency spend.
