Our Teams

Central Recruitment and Training is an inclusive, ‘values based’ company, where all employees are equally valued for their contribution to the success of the business. Each employee has a clearly defined role, which is performance managed based on our vision, values and personalised SMART goals.

Staff development and retention is a key business aspiration and there are developmental processes for promotion and greater responsibility. All our Team Leaders have been promoted within the company and manage the day to day operations of the business.

Directors

Central’s Directors provide a ‘hands on’ approach to the management and governance of the business and work closely with the team leaders. The Directors lead on the strategic business planning processes to ensure service delivery remains aligned to the vision and values of the business. The founding Directors of Central both worked within the statutory social services and the health and social care sector for many years prior to establishing the company so have an in-depth and practical understanding of the importance of quality care.

In addition, our appointed Directors bring depth and diversity to Central with backgrounds in Company Compliance, Human Resource Management, Commercial Law and Information Technology. Our Director of Software Development, Data and Analytics is an MCP certified, full-stack web developer with 25 years’ experience of website and web application development, database creation and management and desktop application development. She is responsible for the development and maintenance of our websites and web portals, as well as our internal database and applications.

Team Leaders

Our Team Leaders, supported by the board of directors, manage the day to day operations of the business and are responsible for staff management, client relationships, service delivery, compliance and implementation of the company’s strategic goals. In addition, our Team Leaders are the personality and energy of the company, ensuring everyone is incentivised and helping to make Central a dynamic and fun place to work.

Operational Staff

All staff at Central play an important role in the running of the business and if successful, are offered the opportunity to progress into senior and team leader roles. Our operational staff are usually educated to degree level or beyond and are from different backgrounds including; customer services, sales, teaching and the public sector.

Recruitment

Our Recruitment Teams are responsible for meeting our customers' staffing requirements and manage the following:

  • Permanent & contract recruitment
  • Temporary and Line cover bookings
  • Emergency and ad hoc shift cover & night rota management

Compliance

Our compliance team is responsible for ensuring all candidates meet our stringent recruitment and vetting procedures and ensure our current work force remains compliant. Our compliance team are also responsible for managing locum bank workers including communication, on-boarding and system inductions.

Resourcing

Our Resource team manage the worker attraction strategy and is the first point of contact for our candidates. The Resource team undertake an in-depth interview with all candidates and produce a CQC compliant ‘worker profile,’ which outlines the candidate’s skills, experience, work history and compliance information.

Payroll & Finance Team

Our payroll and finance team is responsible for ensuring our temporary workers are paid accurately and on-time. This incorporates the management of Central’s rates and fees, worker holiday pay accrual, the CentralAxis on-line timesheet system, worker and customer liaison, invoicing and credit control.
