Central is currently recruiting for a Resettlement Support Worker to work in Camden. In this role, you will be based in a 24 hour Short Stay Rough Sleepers Hub which is a 16 bed service providing immediate safe shelter to verified rough sleepers both male and female, aged 18 +.

In this role, you will be providing intensive support for rough sleepers, providing support with Training & Employment opportunities, housing, accessing primary and secondary health care service and linking in with treatment services.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM, with optional weekend working available. Cover is required until September 2021, with the possibility of extension. The pay rate for this role is £13.25 per hour, totalling £14.85 inclusive of holiday pay.

Appointed candidates will be required to:

" Carry out and adjust needs and risks Assessments
" Accompany clients to appointments
" Help clients obtain ID if they do not have it already
" Assist with benefits applications
" Ensure all clients are receiving the benefits they are eligible for
" Engage with services including treatment services.
" Support clients to access primary & secondary healthcare services.
" Devise move on plans and support clients to access appropriate move on accommodation (Hostels, PRS etc)
" Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure all service users can move on from the project though re-connection or employment options.

To apply for this role, you must have:

" Specialist experience of providing ETE and Housing support
" Experience of holding a caseload of customers, as you will have responsibility to promote a variety of move on options in a variety of methods to customers
" Experience of providing housing related advice, information and support
" Experience of effective liaison with social, health, specialist services
" A strong knowledge of housing law and welfare benefits
" Experience of supporting vulnerable people who have complex needs
