Professional Boundaries for Managers
Course Overview
Central Training’s Professional Boundaries for Managers course focuses on the fundamental principles of good practice and provides an opportunity to define and reflect upon essential themes such as the meaning and purpose of professional boundaries, whistle blowing and safeguarding, personal disclosure and confidentiality within client-worker and staff-staff relationships. The session provides a safe space for managers and supervisors to consider their responsibilities for promoting and maintaining boundaries within their teams (in accordance with organisational expectations and related policies). Candidates will have the opportunity to reflect upon the skills and knowledge required to manage oneself and role model best practice whilst line-managing a team.

Methods of Delivery
The course is highly interactive and combines trainer presentations, screen sharing of slides, small group work in breakout rooms, whole group discussion and reflection, case studies, scenarios - some of which will involve directed learning.
