Course Overview
This qualification has been designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders, or those who are preparing to start work at this level, to gain a good understanding of health and safety that would be relevant within their workplace.

Methods of Delivery This course contains both practical and theoretical elements, so participation is shared between the trainer and the delegates. Course handouts are used for reference; there is also a PowerPoint presentation, flip chart work, group exercises, displays and demonstrations.

- To provide understanding of the main concepts of health and safety
- To promote the benefits of health and safety
- To clarify the roles and responsibilities of individuals, supervisors, and management in health & safety
- To provide an understanding of health & safety control and improvement strategies available to supervisors
Target Audience
This qualification is aimed at managers, team leaders and anyone else who has a responsibility for the health & safety of others in the workplace.
Training Considerations
Delegates should consult their workplace's Health & Safety procedures to be briefed on any issues specific to their workplace, which they require guidance on.
Certification
Upon completion of the final assessment, the delegates will receive a certificate from QCF/RQF accredited body. The price of this is included in the course cost. Refresher recommended every 3 years.
