Paediatric First Aid

Course Overview This one-day course focuses on emergency scenarios that may face those looking after babies and young children. On successful completion of this course, you will receive an emergency paediatric first aid certificate, which is valid for three years.

Course Content
Understand the role and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, have the ability to assess an emergency situation and prioritise your actions. You will also learn how to help a baby or child who is - unresponsive and breathing normally

Target Audience
This course is suitable for people aged 16+ who care for babies and children in any professional setting.
Training Considerations
Delegates must inform of any injury, illness, physical impairment or pregnancy due to the mandatory practical elements of the course. Loose, comfortable and non-revealing clothing is advised for safety, comfort and preservation of dignity. Trousers are suggested rather than skirts.
Certification
The delegates will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
