Course Content

  • To be made aware of legal responsibilities and the importance of risk assessments
  • To recognise safe back positions
  • To learn recommended techniques for safe moving and handling of loads

Target Audience

Anyone who has responsibility for moving and handling inanimate loads.

Training Considerations

Delegates must inform of any injury, illness, physical impairment or pregnancy due to the mandatory practical elements of the course. Loose, comfortable and non-revealing clothing is advised for safety, comfort and preservation of dignity.

Certification

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
