Course Overview


Central Training's Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) course is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge necessary to incorporate the Psychologically Informed Environment approach in their work. The trainer will cover the basic principles involved and how to utilise the approach in day-to-day practice. Delegates will have the opportunity to reflect on the five key elements within a PIE approach and Elastic tolerance.

The course aims to equip delegates with the skills to:
  • Understand the 5 key elements of PIE & how to implement
  • Explore PIE as it relates to a secure attachment
  • Work in a PIE informed way and implement confidently
  • Utilise elastic tolerance as it relates to working relationships
