Central Training's Complex Needs, Dual Diagnosis & Personality Disorders half day course aims to equip candidates with a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of complex behaviours encountered when supporting individuals in adult social care. Focusing on mental health and adopting a Trauma-Informed Approach, the course explores the key factors contributing to challenging behaviours. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and effective strategies for addressing these issues along with tips on managing difficult or crisis situations. The trainer will highlight the importance of implementing control measures including risk assessments and safety plans, communication systems, supervision & support and reporting systems. The course is informed by the organisations related policies.
